General Video Game Discussion

IMO GBA is my favorite. Followed by SNES, N64 and the DS/3DS. Never owned a GameCube and never had close friends who did.

Wow, I'm ashamed of myself. Second best Nintendo system ever. I did hate the N64 controller, though..

Release dates are a joke nowadays.

Yeah, UC4 was slated "2015" and then March 2016, then April 2016, then May 2016.

Even still. I'm getting tired of companies giving release dates they can't live up to. Don't give it a 2016 release date if you can't get it out by then. It's just getting annoying. Literally every title these days gives a 20XX release date and then never gets it out by then. NMS did it too. Andromeda did it. The Division. It's commonplace, and honestly needs to stop.

Got to agree with this. Games getting pushed back sucks a bit, but it happens. It's like building a house or doing renos/ construction, unforseen problems pop up and make it take longer than you initially planned.

I had a custom gaming one built for me.  Cost around $600, but totally worth it.  I bought all of the parts online over a period of time (the most expensive of which I think was a little over $100) and had a friend come over and show me how to put it together.  It's nice.  I have connection issues sometimes because I didn't get a top of the line wi-fi adapter, but nothing that isn't more than a minor inconvenience.
