So, some retailers have been selling Uncharted 4 already in the UK..and a bunch more copies have been stolen, also in the UK. Supposedly, there are already spoilers everywhere. I'm gonna have to be really careful over the next two weeks.

Fuck the Maneaters.. so far I'm finding them more trouble than flamelurker...
I think what makes that fight troublesome is the fact that you're basically fighting on a narrow ledge. Easy to fall off the map, not a lot of room for manuverability and dodging. If you fought the maneaters in a big arena, they'd be cake.

Exactly. At least flamelurker I had room to move around and dodge.. plus man eater does this one attack that if it connects knocks you down. Then while your character slowly gets up he hits you again for the KO.
Maneater is officially the most difficult soulsborne boss for me.. I don't even know how many times I've faced this fuck and I just can't beat him.. Its at least 10 tries thus far without even getting close. Been knocked off the edge by his attacks or when I'm trying to dodge. I keep getting caught between the two brothers and pounded to death *giggles*. I went to another world for a while and came back to face him only to get knocked off the edge twice.. ughhh.. frustration of the highest degree.
I posted that after I played through the part where Shinjiro gets murdered.. Totally insane.. And Akihiko's speech at the school funeral thing was heart-wrenching.
It's absolutely a great game. Loving it so far. I'm just surprised at how dark the game's atmosphere and story is considering how P4 is mostly more of a bubbly/cheerful game. Not that I mind it at all. I've always enjoyed entertainment (whether it be games, music, anime, movies or anything else) that has a darker side to it.
On the contrary, I loved it. The ending up until the last few minutes was great too.
The ending though...I mean, it is NOT as bad as the rep..but it is just not what I would have ever expected...at all. I was just like "Really?" when given the final choice..I dunno. It was weird. It certainly doesn't ruin the series or even the game. Honestly, after beating it, I think I can move Mass Effect to my #1 series of all time. It's just that good.
But yeah..ending leaves a lot to be desired. It's not good. But it's not just horrific either in my opinion. For such a fantastic series, it deserved a better ending. I'm not sure why they went the route they did, I'm really not. It leaves a little bit of a bitter taste in my mouth, but not so much as to taint the series. Going in expecting the worst probably helped. If I was playing this without ever having heard about the ending, maybe I would be outraged, but I dunno.
I'm jealous. My computer is awful. No way it'd be able to run most games.
I had a custom gaming one built for me. Cost around $600, but totally worth it. I bought all of the parts online over a period of time (the most expensive of which I think was a little over $100) and had a friend come over and show me how to put it together. It's nice. I have connection issues sometimes because I didn't get a top of the line wi-fi adapter, but nothing that isn't more than a minor inconvenience.
You are a PC gamer and don't have an Ethernet connection? You are doing it wrong my friend.
