Cousins is a poor man's Embiid. Embiid is far better Defensively than Cousins ever will be.

That is one hell of a tap of potential in 2 or 3 years. Even if Noel and/or Okafor get traded.
Noel will never be a forward, we just need to trade him and get it over with

I'm drooling over Embiid's footwork. So damn advanced for such a young player. That dream shake he has is probably the best since The Dream himself.

Wait you have Holmes and Bayless behind guys like TJ, Hollis, and Stauskas? Bayless is our starting point when he is healthy. This is what i want at the end of the season
Hakeem Embiid rapes. Too bad he gonna be handled with kid gloves until the 2nd half.
It is the right call though, Embiid isnt in 100% NBA game shape yet and risk of injury increases when you are tired and stressing your body to the extreme that these guys do. What i dont get is that Okafor is on a stricter minutes restriction after his meniscus surgery like 8 months ago. Big Ben just had the same fucking surgery like 5 days ago and practiced yesterday. WTF

Hopefully all of their minutes are called at 20 for the entire season...
Dennis Smith or Markelle Fultz loom

I watched the entire game last night. Here are my thoughts.
The crowd hasn't been this hype since prime Iverson. Embiid has amazing footwork. The refs were bullshit. Nerlens will never be a forward and we need to trade him now. Trust the process.

it's about time this board got a sixers fan who actually knows something about their team

Two winning season in the last 13 and one of those was because of a lost strike shortened season.
Pay special attention to the last 5 seasons. I don't have any particular dislike for the team, but the above is all you need to know about the Philadelphia 76ers.
As I said, they are on a rebuild toward mediocrity journey that is now at year 5 with no end in sight. Some teams are destined to be like the Cleveland Browns. the 76ers are one of those teams.

If they trade Noel he will curse this franchise like the great Bambino.
You mean you can envision a world where they could possibly be even WORSE than they are now or have been for quite some time or are likely to be anytime in the foreseeable future?

You got it backwards mate. They were in 8th seed purgatory for 10 years because they refused to rebuild and kept taking half measures to barely keep their heads above water. This has been a long time coming which is why the fans have responded so positively to it. The rebuild has been going on for 3 years... Not 5. No end in sight? Simmons and Embiid both have super star potential what are you talking about... Saric and Okafor with all star potential and they have a ton of great picks incoming. Not everyone has 3 hall of farmers to kick start a rebuild by picking on Billy King (which is a big reason why the Sixers were in purgatory due to his shitty gm record)

Peen, buddy,
Since the 2012 season (for those of us that are math wizes that is the past 4 seasons and this year would make #5) They are 82-247. They have already started out this season 0-1 to a durantless OKC.
I don't want to piss in your cheerios and hope always springs eternal for all fans but the 76'ers have been bad for a very long time and we will have to take your word that is going to change anytime soon, because you can't prove it by history.
But like you said, I am nowhere near a basketball expert so good luck!

Sounds like you preferred the Andre iguodala teams that were so lifeless and never accomplished anything. I'm happy with where the team is headed
