Most of the #Metoo movement isnt about girls being physically forced, its about men in positions of authority taking advantage of young girls that just want to be a "team player" knowing it will help/hurt their career depending on whether they comply.
I thought the Metoo was about sexual assault and Harvey Weinstein etc?

There was no physical force. Just use the actual example in the article. Reread it if you have to, and imagine it's your daughter saying these things to you. How would you reply to her?
Because there was no physical force, no sexual assault, or harrassment
Honestly this would be my actual response to my daughter:
"This is why I wanted you to get an accounting degree like your mother!"
That is pretty F’d up.
The women in the Weinstein case were not physically forced to do anything either. Do you believe that is a rubbish case? They were being taken advantage of in a setting that their career and life work were in the balance. That is the “power” being exploited onto these women. They worked hard to get in the position they are in and what they are passionate about. That is what is on the table when given directives to do something sexually charged and uncomfortable, and what is being used as leverage.
You can say what you want about using direct physical force, but you don’t seem to have any empathy to situations you cannot directly relate to. If your daughter went through an experience like that in which she was sexually exploited or under the conditions of sexual exploitation, and that was your reaction to her ... then that is pretty F’d up.
Why do you keep skipping the part about the women being told to be escorts to the men at a nightclub and forcing them to drink and flirt with the men? How is that comparable to what NFL players do? I don’t recall any NFL player having those directives.

He literally just described the Weinstein case ... there was no physical force involved in it. You think that makes it okay?

I didn’t read anything about getting directives for one on one escorting of fans of exclusively the opposite gender and specific orders of getting drunk and flirting with them.
That is a free for all invitation to go to gamble. It’s not a comparable scenario.

Umm...Weren't they harassed, raped, and sexually assaulted?
That's totally different, and I wouldn't stand for it if it happened to anyone...especially someone in my family.
How is this any different than male athletes being paraded around similar events, and being forced to sign autographs, and interact with fans?
I would imagine because the male athletes are less concerned about being sexually assaulted or sexually harassed, they're there because of their athletic abilities and not their sexual attractiveness, alcohol isn't usually involved, they aren't told or asked to escort middle aged women to nightclubs, and they don't have their passports taken away in foreign countries.
