I PRETTY MUCH FEEL LIKE A GOD RIGHT NOW, AND CANT STOP TYPING IN CAPS! I PULLED OFF MY FIRST EVER MID AIR SHELL JUMP! IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, SUCK IT! MWAHAHAHAHAHA I DID IT!!!

Its basically the hardest trick in Super Mario World Rom hacks... This probably took me over or close to 1000 attempts to pull off. I am fucking hyped right now, LETS GO!

Not me doing it, but just for reference.

I already told you how proud I was of us, but I was wondering...

I have a story of the exact opposite of the point of this thread. In college, I was winning an online Madden game. In the final seconds I was up, so I knelt. But the fucker kept going offsides to prevent me from running out the clock. So after like four or five times I went with a run up the middle.

Fucker stripped it and ran it back for a TD for the win.

To this day, the thought of the cackling laughter of that fucker - that I know he must have had at my expense - irritates me.

Need basically perfect movement for around 30 seconds to make this fast cycle, if you mess up at all you lose like 20 seconds. Very satisfying first time ive done it in a run

Don't know if anyone here has ever played Spelunky. Its a great game, its stupidly fucking hard. I've been on and off playing it for years, and never came close to ever finishing it before. This year I was watching a streamer play it, and he was getting hyped for Spelunky 2. Anyways, it got me amped to play Lunky again, and I got into it, and started working my way up to gitting gud. Well. I just beat my first ever run of Spelunky.. I'm god damn hyped. If you haven't played this game, you have no idea how demoralizing and ridiculously gut wrenching this game can be lol. This is up there as one of my proudest gaming moments. Ahh feeling good..

Of course the funny part of this accomplishment, is I only beat the "easy" route

I could start making hell run attempts now.. *shivers*

Six-person, apartment style dorm room in undergrad. Winter Quarter 1993, we put 5 of the mattresses out in the living room (6th roommate was an annoying, whiny guy who fortunately moved out) and played Tecmo Bowl for days, like we wanted to flunk out of school.

It's going to be awhile before I can ever play that much again. Can't teach my sons bad habits that might get them sent home from college. 😂

I completed the final mission on GTA V last night. Not really an epic moment, but it's an accomplishment for me. Second game I "completed" after having kids and getting cancer (Horizon Zero Dawn was the first).

Storming the beach of Normandy in Medal Of Honor on the PS2. Something about that game put you there right in the heart of the game. Especially playing in surround sound. Bullets just flying all around you.

Years ago, I tell the tale of having a movie theater in my garage, and gaming on an 84" screen. I had a PS2 and me and my godson, and his brothers would play one of the Medal Of Honor shooters. These were 4 player split-screen!!! One of the boards were these two battleships connected to one another by these planks. Playing deathmatch in the open, I'd be perched somewhere with a sniper rifle, and one of the kids would see themselves through my scope and would FREAK out and try to run. THey'd catch a bullet in the back of the head for their efforts. 4 player splits were sooooo much fun. I get WHY we can't do that anymore, but sometimes, I feel like just copping a PS2 for pennies and doing the same thing with my sons.
