New version of the wall. Eye wanna put the bigger one in there but it isn't done yet, and there are other walls to deal with too. Eye have six other larger paintings (like the one in the middle) and six or seven other smaller paintings. Looking at them framed gives it another THING altogether. Eye have a front window with a wall that was made for this shit, so as they finish I'll move em there and Eye live on Route 66 so I'll either sell em or get judged. Ralph said do it, ultimately. Still haven't found myself. Like, what to do? There are a few others that are completely obscure or abstract. I'll paint anything for now. Eye like painting chicks when no other idea comes up. Eye guess me and every other dude that attempted to paint comes to that conclusion.
Eye gave away a few to friends up in Washington State, but it's nothing lost. Eye took photos of those and can frame them for myself if necessary. Eye like that Day of the Dead one. Eye gave away four. But to EXCELLENT friends. Signed and delivered. But there is a learning curve, and Eye want to continue to look at what Eye gave away.
Eye don't know if I'm good, but fuck it Eye don't care. If you've ever been bitten by the artist bite, once you're in a place like New Mexico, it's cool. People are positive thus far. Eye have some work to do. And then I'll write about it, cuz Eye can at least do that. Which is probably the main point anyway. So.
It’ll take a month at the least, but probably three months and four months at most.
My art (the painting) has advanced a little. I’m no Picasso, but I’m comfortable with it.
I’ve published 31 poems and have 15 of them running around to get further published. There’s short stories too, and maybe those can go with this. Maybe that’s a seperate project, but maybe not.
My idea is to paint a painting for each poem. Some of the poems aren’t too visual, so just throw a good painting in and cool, and vice-versa (althought the poems are generally good).
Eye dislike the idea of a typical poetry book. Eye read them and love them, but something generally seems lacking and I’m lacking with a general theme. I’m all over the place, Eye don’t think Eye need to explain that to anyone here.
Is it by any means interesting? Eye think Eye can find the theme in the process and that’s what Eye really need to do, but a lot of it has to do with color and art, imagery, etc.
If Eye could throw the short stories in there, cool. Eye guess I’m all about creating a new genre. I’m sure it’s been done before, but to what extent around here (English speaking languages), I’m not too sure. Eye read up the poetry section of the DC library while Eye had all that time on my hands and there are paintings in many books of poetry, but it’s usually the editor adding classical or whatever art. This would be ALL ME.
My question is, if anyone cares to answer, would anybody care?
Fiction is fiction, but art and poetry are generally non-fiction. It’s tough to get shit like this published. Eye guess Eye have to do what Eye have to do, but if it’s good it’s good right? For me, all mixed up seems to be in order.
Nothing too brainy going on right here. Some of the poems are real poems, okay? So yeah a little brainy, but then if there’s a painting I’m not sure if it would add or distract. If Eye can find a way to integrate the fiction, then it’s just fiction, but not quite. It’s a good way to get it all published at the same time, but I’m more into the experimental factor. Experimental fiction? Yeah Eye guess.
Any input, good or bad, is welcomed. We have a lot of thoughtful brains around here and Eye wouldn’t ask if Eye didn’t love that. Some of the paintings above are involved, but not all of them and Eye have more.
I’m not looking for approval. Be as cruel or as thoughtful as you can. Eye guess I’m doing it. But opines on the idea are whatever and whatever. Thanks.
