He had a double-double tonight, 22 minutes. Nuggets thrashed the Clips by 20. Just exhibition. He's in decent shape compared to last year, but he still looks like he never lost his babyfat.
One takeaway: Michael Porter Jr. is playing very well. 6-7, 12 points, 5 boards. Played the entire 4th Q again, so he's definitely riding the bench. If he can keep it up Eye can see him actually competing for Barton's job. Defense will be key, but he's a straight up better shooter. Good bench guy, anyway. Juancho looked good too.
Just exhibition, so whatever. Kawhi didn't play for long, but looked GREAT.
Was gonna ask how Porter Jr looked. For them to take another step they need someone else to step up
They play again late Monday, if we can remember it after MNF. He looks pretty good to me. A little bigger, but lanky. No sign of the injury. Yet, fingers crossed. If he can learn to play D, he's that swingman we covet.
They played tight for three quarters, actually. George and Paul are out and Kawhi barely played. The fourth quarter was semi-hard-fought, though. Those guys want to prove themselves. I'd say Porter Jr. was the best guy on the court.
Y'know who looked vastly improved? Montrezl Harrell. He was good anyway, but he looks a lot better. One game, exhibition, but you see a few things.
When the Clips are fully up and running, they're a great team. Probably better than the Lakers, but Eye haven't seen them yet. Utah looks good.
Denver looks pretty good. I'm pretty impressed by Plumlee. It's as if he's learning from Jokic. Good passing, knows his limitations. Meh, exhibition lol.

Paying attention to two games at once is a pain in the ass, but Porter Jr. is on the court with Jokic, Murray, Harris, and Craig in the 2nd Q. He's 3/5 and has seven points. He's lacking on D, but he fits.
