Pretty much used to it. Like Cruise said, the hits just keep on coming. 😆
From A Few Good Men if you are not familiar with the reference.
Pretty much used to it is code word for you don’t feel ok. I’m sorry you have this stress. Is there no chance of getting your son into a treatment facility?

It may be necessary soon if he doesn’t sleep. He only has Medicaid and a lot of places won’t take him. Or he will run up an enormous bill if we do. But there may be no choice soon.

He sounds like he could become a danger to himself or someone else...

Very aware, but just spoke with him. Seems calm for the moment. We will both try to get some sleep.
Do you talk to anyone about your issues or the issues in your home?
Yeah. Have an appointment with my therapist Friday. My best friend for 52 years will be back from Florida on the 18th.
Good. As long as you like your therapist keep moving forward. I was going to one that wasn't really helping. I switched and it made a world of difference.
Safe? Think so. My wife has a 102 fever and my son was up all night. Hypomania followed by anxiety. I might have gotten 3 hours sleep.
She says she is able to go to Urgent Care. It is close by. Clearly, he can’t drive her. I will try to crash for a while after she leaves.
Sorry to hear about your son Blue, that shit is hard to deal with, for him and you.
I deal with my own mental illness (poorly for the most part), and I know it takes its toll on my parents. I am forever grateful for their willingness to put up with my bullshit. I'm sure your son feels the same way. Hopefully this rough patch passes quickly, and you guys can get to a more stable place.

They say there is no cure for bipolar 2. It can be managed for a fair portion of the year, but 2-3 times a year or maybe more, they fall into the abyss. After 35 it is supposed to start losing intensity. Doubt I’ll be here for that, but he is my boy and I love him. So, you have to accept the territory that goes with it.
Sorry for your issues. Tough way to live. Pretty much turned me against God. May not be the right reaction, but there it is.
Thank you for your concern. It really means something coming from you. You get it.
