3+ years ago I ridiculed anti-Trump people who didn't want to accept Trump's victory and told them to retreat to their Safe Space.
I apologize.
Now, I want to retreat to a Safe Place.
I've had enough of Trump, Covid-19, and BLM demonstrations, I've had enough of cleaning up my deceased uncle's estate and not being able to play consistent golf. I've had enough of not being able to make a noticeable difference in the lives of my unmet neighbors both locally and nationally. I've had enough of waking up every day and contemplating the existential questions. I'm tired of watching fiction on tv.
I'm tired of running on this hamster wheel I've made of my life.
I'm not suicidal or violent. I'm just bored and I need to figure out my next interests in life that can help others while enriching my outlook and sense of purpose.
I thought I could someday retire and spend my time reading, hiking, golfing, being with family and handling the regular chores of life.
Something is missing and I need to figure it out
Netflix is not the answer. LOL
In my top desk drawer I kept a copy of David Packard s obituary written by The Economist. I always aspired to his greatness and impact, but I now realize I will not attain such heights, but to which heights, if any, I attain remain to be defined. I can get lost in wonder

Hey old buddy, old pal!
That part I bolded is the big mystery.
You may want to start small, goal-wise, and garner a sense of achievement while you contemplate the long-range stuff. Getting shit done; that feeling of accomplishment will do wonders. Don't try to change the world in one day; you won't and it'll eat you up. Change your part of it first.
