Axios conducted a poll/graph showing how the political affiliation determines who seriously you take COVID-19 as well as your attitude towards masks.
Ways to NOT interpret the data:
When a % is shown it means just that, a %, it doesn't mean 100%. Please try to understand what 0.0% means, 100%, and 50%. If 50% of republicans oppose a mask it does not mean ALL republicans oppose wearing a mask. The data would have shown "100% of republicans do not wear masks" if it meant ALL republicans. Please don't be stupid in not understand what a % means.
I was up to northern Maine this past weekend in a County that has only had 3 total cases of Coronavirus. This is predominantly a republican county. I would say in stores about 95% of people were wearing masks and about 40% were wearing them outside walking the streets. A touristy place so maybe the locals were being more cautious than they would if it was during the fall.
