What I am hearing is that they are officially going to announced the Mario 35th anniversary collection coming to Nintendo Switch, which includes Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy (and possibly Galaxy 2 as well). They aren't going to be remasters, but direct HD ports to the Switch.
These games have been rumored to be coming to the Switch for months now and were supposed to be announced at the San Diego Comic Con, but that was cancelled thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. This is HUGE. More than likely, it will probably be available around Christmas time.
Of course these are rumors to be taken with a grain of salt, but the chatter seems to be legit, IMO. It will be interesting to see how they incorporate Super Mario Sunshine, since the hose mechanic was geared to the amount of pressure put on the gamecube controller's L and R buttons, which the Switch doesn't have. I am really looking forward to playing Galaxy again as well since selling my Wii a LONG time ago.
