He wasn't some dude who wanted to go to a Trump's rally; Herman Cain is in a leadership position as part of Trump's administration. He was asked to be there. People do what their bosses say.
Exactly. Trump is directly responsible for this death. Politicians like Cain will ultimately feel compelled to go to these misguided rallies to keep their political power. Trump is the one that decided to hold the rally despite the obvious warnings and health risks and one of his party's politicians died because of it.
People might be responsible for their own decisions, but Trump directly influenced that decision so he is directly responsible for this death. Direct responsibility =/= sole responsibility, but Trump's responsibility in this is at least as equal as Cain's decision to go. He needs to be held accountable for his actions.
He may have felt 'compelled' to go, but fer Chrissakes - 74 years old, stand up for what you believe in. When, if ever, do you stop being a pussy and a puppet?!? He was long past retirement age of a successful career, not some poor Wal-Mart worker trying to support a family. It's not slavery nor a HItler concentration camp. Was the price of death really worth paying, even if he had no family? So gimme a break, his presence (much less maskless) was complicit and unwavering support of this rally and of Trump. Fire a 74 yr old cancer survivor for not going, that'll look good.
