Rey was struggling with dealing with the dark side, which could explain at least some of her strength.
Also like I said even in the OT the Jedi and the force is treated a bit like a joke. Hell Vader had to force choke a motherfucker because he was questioning it, and that guy works with a force user haha.
he wasnt questioning it... he even acknowledged his old religion and that he was a sorcerer. He just wasnt scared of him
Also part of the reason Beskar is sought after for mandos is that it is effective vs Jedi. The mental gymnastics you need to do to explain this is just not worth the effort.
Im not saying the show is trash just that some parts are fucking stupid due to lack of imagination
Idk, I just feel like there's something missing there to explain why the force and force users are seen in that way after order 66.
It would be nice to see them expand on that, because it seems off. Even since before disney took over.

thats all im asking for, if they want to go that way and have to keep reintroducing what the force is there has to be a reason. There isnt.
ok fine if you are on a sports team for 30 years do you think you would learn the history of that team?
but he didn't learn that history. He learned the cult approved history right?
the one where the armorer knows about the jedi and just didnt tell anyone until it was relevant to the story? Yea this is what im talking about, lazy writing with no imagination

Also I don't think it's too ridiculous to say that some people really don't know what the hell a Jedi is.
We're talking about a literal galaxy of people knowing about a couple 1000 of space wizards, after years of Empire propaganda.
It would be like an average North Korean not knowing who Patrick Mahomes is.
some people sure
the mandos talk about the fall of the empire and their creed admits in the actually show that they have had many battles in the past with Jedi. Mando is attacked during the clone wars ffs. He doesnt want to know what was going on with that and why his parents died? Just accepts that all droids bad and that is it?

use your words my man, you havent disputed anything i have said and just said it is dumb and i dont understand.
Jedi aren't superheros, their abilities don't come from training or bloodlines or Midi-chlorians. You could be Palpatine-Skywalker trained for 50 years, best shape of your life, with a Midi-chlorian count off the conceivable charts, and lose to a 10 year old that doesn't know how to force push or know what a lightsaber is if the force wants you to lose.
The Force decides, it doesn't matter how "powerful" a jedi/sith is.

i actually completely agree with that outside of the training. Training has been needed always but that isnt even what im talking about im talking about mando not knowing about the force.
sith use the dark side which is easier and more seductive, literally explained by yoda in episode 5. Also weve never seen a sith introduced as a newbie and able to kick ass immediately so im not sure where this is coming from.
anakin had like 10 years off screen for training and still got his ass kicked in episode 2
a powerful bloodline is not enough to just be powerful which is shown by luke and anakin, also rey palpatine was a retcon. They literally explain her powers as a force download from Kylo, that is canon.
