Keep in mind, I'm not a huge Luke fan. The more I read the comic books, the more I've fallin in love for other characters, pushing Luke all the way down into the teens in regards to my personal preference. I'm like: 1. Ahsoka 2. Mace 3. Anakin 4. Ezra 5. Revan
14. Luke.
That being said, I lost it soon as they said, "I ship is coming in..." It was one of those things where, I was kinda expecting it, cause they were seriously about to get their azzes handed to them. What we just witnessed was Jedi Knight at his most powerful form. This look would have massacred Palpatine in a 1-on-1. I then watched the reaction videos, and watched grown met cream themselves in tears over this scene.
When I originally heard of Mando's series, I was like, Meh. This series KNOCKED it out the park!!!
Btw, there are a series of fanboys, who were unhappy with Ahsoka being played by Dawson, over Ahsley Ecstien. Keep in mind, I wanted Ashley to play the part myself, cause of the voice. That being said, Ashley is 5'2. That would have worked for the teen Ahsoka... not for the adult who went head to head vs. the 6'5 vader. I just find it humerous for the fans who said it was a SJW decision.

the new canon does everything they can to make luke a pathetic failure to try and prop up their new characters that are garbage
this episode proved that if you have well liked characters they can still carry the emotional tone of the episode with such an icon like Luke also on screen. Grogu and Mando were perfect at the end and carried the emotional punch and Luke was able to coexist with them to great effect. Disney has just been creatively bankrupt and have admitted to not knowing what to do with Luke so they did nothing. Gonna copy a post that resonated with me about Luke and what he represents and why he is important to a lot of people
"Luke is hope. Not just a new hope. But hope, period.
When he was mowing down the Dark Troopers like a total badass, it didn't feel intense. Not in the usual sense, at least. It felt calming. Peaceful. Serene. It made me feel safe; made me feel like everything will be fine. Help is underway. It's okay. You will be fine. You will never be abandoned. I will come to your rescue, always.
This is what makes Luke so special. This is what makes him different to all the other Jedi. He brings light wherever he goes. He never gives up. No matter what happens, you can always count on him and trust in him.
Luke is hope, and you cannot kill hope. The sequels never understood this. "
