A new Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic game is reportedly in development according to the B.O.B. podcast, and that "we will never guess" the developer. This comes after it was announced that Ubisoft is developing an open-world Star Wars game using Tom Clancy's: The Division's Snowdrop engine.
"Too often, we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." - JFK
"First Thoughts are the everyday thoughts. Everyone has those. Second Thoughts are the thoughts you think about the way you think. People who enjoy thinking have those. Third Thoughts are thoughts that watch the world and think all by themselves. They’re rare, and often troublesome."

I like to take a moment and re-share my love affair with KOTOR. I bought my first Xbox out of a pawn shop (Poverty PSR in effect) and I recall trying to talk them down in price, something I did, and continue to do all the time. The guy wasn't budging, but what he did do was toss in a game (you know where this is going). Well... that game sat, and sat, and sat. I was a Star Wars fan, but as I told the pawn shop guy, I was not a role-playing game fan. I actually hated those games for the most part, because I felt like it took my true power away as a gamer.
One day out of pure boredom, I put it in. I was blown away how immersive the world in which this game pulled me in to. Giving me the option of what to do, and how it affected the ENTIRE game... I just couldn't believe it. It was so addicting... I played it both good and bad side. My wife, who watched me, did the same. When playing dark side, I actually felt bad for the decisions I made, especially since I played light side the first time, and saw how my earlier actions had benefited total strangers, vs, "No need to thank me, I'll just take all your money instead." This game had one of video games most classic surprise endings.
Cause I'm telling you this will be a day 1 purchase for me. Outside of wishing for another LEft For Dead, this has been on my mind for a decade.
i don't think there is a release date yet. I'm thinking it might be a ways away. But a new gen version of KOTOR has been very high on my list for a long time as well.
Btw this came out today, the first episode is lit.
The first episode theme-wise has been done numerous times in the past, ie Westerns and Chinese warriors. That being said... it was pretty darn awesome.

I just really dig that style of animation, and star wars has always had a bit of inspiration from Japan. It's just chill to see it in full without restraint.

Also, don't know if you have mentioned it here before, but Back 4 Blood (Oct 12) is the original makers of Left 4 Dead with similar gameplay.
Yeah, I mentioned it. I think I also mentioned that one has to be cautious with that label. If the original team was 25 people, and 3 guys are working on this project, its kinda disingenuous to say, "From the makers of Left For Dead!"

Ahh, so that's how you got your youngest child. (/vikes)

What can I say... my wife just happened to be in the bed that night.
