I forgot about THPS. Elissa Steamer her special grind was too easy to pull off and hold a long rail on.

Tony Hawks Underground.. main character. Between grinds, manuals and stalls I could smash any score challenge in one seamless attempt.
Old drunk guy in Virtua Fighter 2, had a friend punch a hole in the wall because he couldn't beat me
Wario in Mario Kart 64, won some tournaments with him. Even though he may not be the best character, his catchphrase in his evil voice is the best - "Imma Wario, Imma gonna win!"
Warren Moon and ofc Bo Jackson in Tecno Super Bowl
Nhl 94 needed this....
I was beastly with the Flyers in NHL 94.. Brind'Amour was unstoppable on one timers from Recchi
Electric football. Mine you could turn the vibrating way up or down. I liked to turn it up and the players bounced all over the place.
I used model paint and painted all my players uniforms. One of my teams looked like the Steelers. I also took roll a dex cards and bent them and made tents for them to sleep in. Come on man I was six.

Fifa 2005 running Man U and Ryan Giggs as my center piece of the offense. Borderline top 100 player / beat a few top 10 players online that year. If YouTube/Twitch was a thing back then I'd probably have gone that route lol. ANd that was the first year I'd even got into a FIFA game then went to college and never played it again with the same dedication. FIFA 2015 was the last one i had until this year actually

Resident Evil - Chris Redfield Street Fighter - Chun Li Tekken - Lei WuLong Virtua Fighter - Wolf Mortal Kombat - Jade (my favorite is Raiden, but, I just can't get as good with him) Mario Kart - Wario Fatal Fury - Mai Shiranui Dark Stalkers - Felicia Marvel vs Capcom - Storm
For Mortal Kombat, I was also really good at Sonya Blade. Stayed up night and day slaying online, it was actually fun. Not a huge fan of her character, but, she was pretty easy to learn.

3 or 4 player battles on skyscraper in mario 64 was my shit
i was always mario, our buddy was always luigi, and my brother was always wario. Starting each match with a huge spin out by the same item box was hilarious
They need to bring back actually good battle modes for mario kart, what they have in MK8 is so fucking bad. The racing is really good possibly even the best in the series but battle mode is where shit got real. I have all those sound effects seared into my brain, so much goofy fun HERE I GO!!!!

Oh shit a Lei Wulong main! People who are good with Lei are fun to watch.
Back many a year ago, my brother Saska and myself got pretty into Tekken 5. He had a few friends who were pretty decent. One dude was a Hwoarang main as he was a tae kwon doe guy. The other guy was good with everyone, but Lei was one of his main squeezes. It was always crazy watching him flow through Lei's stances and kick the shit out of us.

Vince was the best... We got so good playing against him. I think I used Marshall Law the most... And Feng/Raven were next for me. Vince was a master at that game though. Like he would go for the 20+ air combos and knew every 10-hit combo for every character.
I absolutely stomped ass on halo 2 (especially swat and snipers) and cod 4 modern warfare.
How high did you rank?
Mid 30s with a friend and then it was really hard to get any further because we’d run into cheaters. Mainly lag switching or whatever it was called and the dudes that would force you to spawn mid air that would shoot full auto snipers at you. Good times.

You definitely started getting pretty decent. I never got very good lol. You and Vince would just sit in practice mode fighting each other and practicing shit for hours. I spent more time watching you guys, and playing the story mode. I beat tekken 5 with every character save for one or two. I think the bear and Mokujin maybe? Fuck Jinpachi btw, god what a cheap ass final boss lol.

We would often just play over our lunch break when we worked that summer job mowing lawns. Tekken got really awesome once you started to understand how intricate the controls were. Parries/counters/combos/stances/etc... Everything opened up different move sets. Vince even taught us how to hold the controller differently in order to be better lol.
