It reminds me of the Indian man who was slammed by Alabama cops, while he was just walking on the sidewalk while visiting his family.
But it has happened to deaf people, blind people, mentally challenged people, and people with other mental health issues. Instead of a desire to try to help, it seems like the officers in these incidents see the person as an easy target.

When someone doesn't immediately respect their authoritah, it throws them into a blind rage. It takes too much effort to actually try and figure out if they're being ignored for a valid reason.
There’s an entire class of people who demand so much authority they can get away with physical violence for almost any reason. Didn’t answer a question? Didn’t answer fast enough? Cussed at a cop?
“We won’t cut your hand off for stealing, but we’ll dislocate your shoulder and break your ribs and then laugh about it when we think no one is watching.”

That's definitely the case in some instances. But in some others, the officer knows that the person has some kind of issue, that hinders their ability to comply, and mistreats them anyway.

We truly are an advanced society.
Gotta break a few ribs...er umm...eggs to make an omelet (as someone here has said about executing the wrong person). Taking down elderly dementia sufferers for shoplifting random, cheap shit makes us all safer somehow. We can't complain about this incident and then expect the police to show up and help when we're physically threatened because it's all or nothing and we can't improve policing except to hire more police and give them more powers.
Clayton County also had some draconian marijuana policies (not sure if they still do). And their public school system lost its accreditation. Not a Top 10 place to live.
How many more examples of insanity do we need before we realize voting smarter is a necessity for peace?
They be asking us questions, harass and arrest us, saying we eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast. Y’all eat pieces of shit? What’s the basis? We ain’t going nowhere but got suits and cases.
