I like the Schobert trade. They gave up either a 6th or 7th round pick (according to reports it is a late day 3 pick in the 2022 Draft) and got a guy who has led or is at the top of the NFL in tackles the last 4 seasons. Probably going to get a similar impact as what they got with Avery Williamson, but this time they have Schobert under control for 3 more years, while having a potential out for his contract after this season with 0 dead cap money. His cap hit balloons up to $9.5 million next year, $10.75m in 2023, and $11.25m in 2024.

The Steelers aren’t a threat to win a championship this year and I haven’t seen any indication they will be good enough to even make the playoffs. Ben is not an nfl QB at this point

I just watched some film snippets of Dotson against the Eagles and my god...he looked like a monster. Dotson is going to be a pro bowler at the very least. It won't take long for people to realize that the best runs from Najee Harris are going to be behind Dotson at LG or with him pulling. He still has some adjustment issues in space to work on, but having him at LG for a full season with Green in there is going to be a boon for our running game.

On a side note, I also liked what I saw from Freirmuth as a blocker against the Eagles. There was one play on a Samuels run where Freirmuth pulled in front of Dotson (who was also pulling) and bulldozed his man to the ground.
