Star Wars Visions

Basically 9 short to very short anime episodes made by japanese studios that they made very clear were not canon so they could do whatever they wanted which was very smart.



Overall it was a huge breath of fresh air, episode 1, 5, and 7 and maybe 8 could be full series and left me wanting more. Some was kinda weird over the top or slow but still had cool ideas like a kyber crystal powered suit. Id say it was very good and definitely worth a watch. 5 was my favorite which was titled the 9th jedi, just had everything you could want with some interesting twists on lightsabers being more tuned to their users in terms of their force connection and affinity which could change color, length, and probably some other shit depending on who is using it. Kind of wish that stuff was canon tbh and was an idea i always liked in the old extended universe.



Theres another one with what seems to be a robot and i thought it would have been cool if they find out if he either can control the force or if he finds out he cant and has to deal with it. Some potential there but it was basically megman, his mentor looked exactly like dr light too lmao.



overall i give it 8/8 in terms of it being a good idea to pursue further, a 6.75/8 in terms of execution.
