I have a major gopher problem. My whole front and back yard is being destroyed. I went to home depot to get some smoke bombs that you put down the hole. I was told by a neighbor that works and is humane. I don't want to poison them because they die and the birds of prey around here eat them and die. Well the very knowledgeable man at Home Depot said they don't sell the smoke bombs anymore because California environmentalists are against it. I decided to buy some poison because I have to do something and I guess poisoning them is more environmentally favorable than smoking them out. Climate change ya know. 

He then told me to go across the parking lot to Auto Zone. They sell road flairs that are the same thing. So I did. I have three big road flairs and tomorrow it is war. I'm going to mow the front lawn and weed wacke then flatten all the gopher mounds. Then when I see an opening I'm going to fire bomb them.

Wish me luck. Hopefully it works and I can do the back yard soon.

I've got a few of those. Didn't have much luck. I'm going to try the road flares but I haven't yet. 

I tried that also. I missed and it hit the block wall behind it and almost hit my dog. I was done with that method. I'm not a fast moving lead guy.
