Dee Strange-Gordon, usually a 2nd Baseman, was put in as pitcher because Washington was down to Atlanta 14-3 in the bottom of the 8th. Hilarity ensues.

My GF turned the channel for a few minutes to watch some home remodel stuff. I missed how they scored 2. ESPN sucks at replays. Anyone know how they scored?

It wasn’t that exciting, I think the runs came from a fielder’s choice and a bases loaded walk or something. Darvish bouncing back from getting shelled the other day was the biggest thing to take out of it.

Interesting fact. The Padres have played 15 game so far and have yet to make an error. Longest streak starting a season in baseball history. So now we own that record and the grand slams in four consecutive games record.

To bad we lost last night.

Saw this reaction a few days ago and surprised it wasn't posted here. Schwarber loses it on ump Angel Hernandez after what is probably the worst umped game many have seen in a long, long, time. Schwarber was even saying it was bad on both sides and from Andrew McCutchen's reaction he agreed (McCutchen plays for the Brewers now).

Earlier in the same game against the Brewers.
