Cool, drop $10k on Tesla and Twitter and keep it there. Put your money where your mouth is.
In my mind, a bad or at least questionable investment in twitter. Musk is open, honest and on record saying-"“I don’t care about the economics at all,” he said at a conference shortly after announcing his offer. And in the statement announcing that Twitter’s board had accepted Mr. Musk’s offer, he mentioned free speech, open-source algorithms and other nonfinancial features of Twitter’s operations that he said have “tremendous potential.”
Worse, no matter how many shares you buy, you still have no say in the operation of the company.
Tesla is a cash cow (for now).
Telsa is a cash cow. But like I said that's not something I'd want to invest heavily for a long term. That's more anxiety than I'd be willing to deal with.
I see you failed to notice that he mentioned that he wants everyone to verify their identity on Twitter. Which is hilarious.
Doubtful. All these fringe alt right weirdos always cry about how they don’t need Twitter and how they have their platforms, which have a fraction of the users places like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram have. They all want back cause Twitter is crack.
Hint: Twitter isn’t a government actor. Therefore the 1st amendment is not applicable. Con law 101.
Again, you don't have to go out of your way to prove you have no idea about the issue. But if you do, that's on you. You do realize a private entity can be considered a 'government actor', right? So, if laws catch up to reality and Twitter is a de facto public square, they, as caretakers, would be considered a 'government actor' and would have to abide by the first amendment. Its already established that a private entity can qualify as a government actor in various circumstances, laws will need to catch up in regards to social media. Said that from the beginning when you thought you had something.

You do realize that Twitter isn’t a government actor, that it doesn’t fit any of the exceptions of government actor (i.e. performing a traditional government function) and that you're merely predicting how you think/want the law to be rather than how the law actually functions. But by all means, tell me how the law works when you have no legal eduction or understanding of the constitution or the law in general.

Yes, exactly, I'm saying the laws would need to catch up and I'm predicting they will. Hell, soon to be ownership believes they are a de facto public square and said as much. I'm not arguing that they're violating anything today. Nobody was disputing 'how the law works' except you. You do realize that right? Lol. You have milked having absolutely nothing quite a bit. Hell, less than nothing. You were giving away.

Is Mush owning Twitter really going to make that big of a difference?
There will still be algorithms, there will still be TOS, accounts will still be banned for violating the TOS. People will still complain about censorship when their accounts get banned....
Lol. Are you a day trader or something stupid? Apple lost 100B in one day, today even. Butthurt you missed this ride, but pretending TSLA isn't killing it is a weird position.
Market cap over last decade, closed at over 900B today.
You fucked up man, completely. Should have got in. Could have been a multi-thousandaire.

Making people verify their identity on Twitter is a big change if he actually pushes for that.

Bro you're going to need a male plan B with all this dick riding you're doing.

He's claiming open source and governing the site as a 'free speech absolutist'. Weird how now its an issue, but was cool when Dorsey was shutting down legitimate news articles.
People gonna learn that Twitter (and Facebook) is still not real life lmao.
Depends on how you use it. I'm not on Twitter but I use facebook to facetime with my kids, grandkids, and mom. Also receive lots of pictures. Seems real to me.
