ESPN's College Game Day has been a staple on Saturday mornings for a long time (27 years?). Sadly, over the last few it has devolved into a lot of unwatchable filler as imitators and competitors have sprouted up across many networks. Two long-time mainstays are now at the crossroads- Lee Corso is clearly aged out and has a very limited future. That brought up the question of the famous headgear pick Corso closed each show with. Would Herbstreit assume the play?

Without Jordan Addison, Pitt is a different animal altogether. Kedon Slovis replacing Pickett is the thing to watch. Izzy Abanikanda is going to be good this year, and they have 4 returning starters along their OL. Bit of an obvious statement, but Slovis is going to be the driver for this team and they will live and die by him.

Pitt's DL is going to be elite though. DT Calijah Kancey and DE Habba Baldonado have legit shots to be 1st Round Picks in the 2023 Draft.
