very refreshing, all the performances are good and they give each scene enough time to breath. During episode 6 even before anything happened it just felt so refreshing that there was proper build up to whatever was gonna happen and it was earned. It felt real with realistic consequences. These show runners get it. The show also looks way better than Kenobi or booba fett which is hilarious. Got the A team doing the Z property and making it better than anything else they have released. With almost assuredly a smaller budget The Eye scene was marvelous and looked better than anything in any of the other shows while also being new and interesting while being relevant to the plan and the plot. Good stuff all around.
Surely Disney is gonna learn all the wrong lessons from this
Bee is the GOAT. Cool design on him and hes fucked up and stuttering due to being fucked up. Its great, feels right at home. Also Qyburn as an imperial officer is dope.
Seems they are doing 3 episode chunks as the arcs so far and its working really well. Disneys reign has felt artificial in a lot of ways like they are checking boxes. Removing this artificial restriction makes things feel legit instead of an action set piece to be thrown away as soon as you are done with it. Pacing is better without a forced action scene that isnt earned every 10 minutes, building up to the big event is just as important as that event and its the first time star wars has done this in fucking forever. Feels good to have competent show runners able to make me care about Star Wars in universe for once.
The movie format should be here to stay in mini arcs. I can't overstate how much better it makes things. Every episode doesnt have to open with something crazy and end on a cliff hanger you have so much more freedom.
