"Right now" shows a strong lack of political history and acumen. The two parties don't just divide philosophically, they divide thoughtfully. The dems are a single-minded lockstep party with very little disagreement. All sheep in one pen.
100%, they just follow whatever Mama Nancy wanted and every single one of them was much to scared to think for themselves. Hell, they even back an anti-semite of the year winner without question. It was cute how the party superdelegated Hillary to a nomination and then had everyone drop out of the race for Biden to 'win' his nomination from the basement. Strange little cult.
Fact is a suspect claim. He didn't "begged". It's true he both supports McCarthy (a point I accurately noted) and has posted so. Your question is best aimed at MPT who instantly got lost and then destroyed in this thread.
You, in fact (link available), posted more than Trump's support for McCarthy. It's the rest of the off-the-rails, unhinged nonsense that is "the problem".

Repubs have always taken a more independent path.
The issue here is strength. The base and a small portion of the repub electorate want to emulate the ruthless dem fight approach. McCarthy has been uncommitted (witness dem support) to this strategy. So far, McCarthy has only committed to throwing some dems off of committees a a few meaningless procedure changes. If he were to commit to a stronger approach, he would pull the final votes he needs (and lose dem enthusiasm).
As long as repubs are independent minded, the sheep hope won't be possible.
Amusing little world you live in
Before you go knocking reality as "amusing", you might be better served giving it a chance sometime....

It's worse than that, it's rejecting reality.
Consider the last legislative vote, the $1.7 Trillion (with a T) budget bill on Dec 23, 2022-
House dems were all in minus a single no and a present, repubs had 9 votes for. The senate every dem was a for, 18 repubs joined them.
Just sticking with the leadership vote, dems are voting Jeffries unanimously. Yep, every vote.

Are you seriously going to preach your stupidity, or are you trying very hard to get someone else to believe this laughable shit?
Hell the Dems literally just nominated a minority leader who is openly hostile to anyone left of center. If there is more of consensus on the Dem side it's because overall they're a better party than your cluster fuck joke of a party.

It's not difficult to understand.
There would be no reason to vote against the budget bill, and voting against Jefferies who is only the minority leader, would be a fruitless endeavor.
But hey I you want to pat yourself on the back for the GOP's shit flinging competition, you go ahead and do that.

The GOP seemed in lock step when it came to voting against the inflation reduction act, as well as lowering insulin costs, and prescription drugs for the elderly.

The real question is why dems had no opposition. The spending bill exacerbated ( increase the severity) inflation. Anyone voting for it should be held accountable....

That's why they keep winning.
Lol, winning what? Obviously not the house. Not state houses. Not governorships. But whatever makes you happy man. The Dems just vote in a single block, no dissention, no debate, just soulless and trade shit like baseball cards, exactly like momma Nancy, their leader and role model.
Anyway, what's the big deal about what's happening? Dems just vote in a single block on everything, and you're impressed by that? Dissention and debate isn't so bad. What exactly are the 'no' votes asking for that is so problematic for you?
Agree. Very huge deal. House is paralyzed because of it. Sad.
Ya, the house notorious for being super hard working. So sad. Oh well, not everyone can vote party line every time, maybe next time donkey's are in charge you can be happy again. Good luck!

Won the presidency. During a mid-tern that the GOP was supposed to handedly win the Dems instead won the Senate. Flipped or held swing states like PA, AZ, KS, MD, NM, OR, and WI governor elections, flipping 2. Flipped the PA state house, flipped the MI state senate, flipped the MN state senate, flipped the AK congressional seat.
And again, there's no need to differentiate on policy if the policy is a no brainer compared to the alternative nonsense. Just like the speaker seat, why the fuck would they pick anyone other than Jefferies when he was getting more votes than McCarthy? Lol. Are you admitting to having no common sense? I guess you could wipe your ass with your hands instead of toilet paper and just to prove how different you are, that doesn't make you some sort of intellectual.
