Lol I love people. I need to get underground and get more batteries.
The creativity level of this game is absolutely goddamn insane.

Just beat the Fire Temple. Holy shit, these bosses have been jacked up in difficulty. Looks like they are taking old bosses from different games and upgrading them, which is cool as fuck. Marbled Gohma was the boss, which is the same name (just Gohma) as the boss from the Wind Waker.
Gohma was from oot as well, first boss In oot and wind waker. I really enjoyed the gerudo area boss, felt like the boss in the rito area was more spectacle than great fight but was still awesome.
just played about 20 minutes of the game(the very beginning is kinda like watching a horror movie), but it looks pretty much just like like BoTW
Some of it is similar, but there are more than enough changes to where it's like discovering it all over again. 20 mins is nothing for this game. You have just barely dipped your toes in the water.

yeah, I figured it to be a long game and like you pointed out, rediscovering things and searching for stuff will make it a great game
the reason I only played for 20 minutes is because I'm close to finishing another game(Tales of Symphonia) and I want to finish that game before I really get into it
Hey, Wang! What's with the pictures....it's a parking lot!
*in country twang* I dunno....I'm a fast cook, I guess
holy shit, a bike!.....you're six........holy crap, a bike!......you're six.........ga ga goo goo, bikey!.......too far back
Step 1 - Jump off a small cliff using your paraglider
Step 2 - While gliding, go into your inventory and grab 5 of whatever items you want to duplicate. Make sure that this doesn't drop your item count down to zero.
Step 3 - While still in the inventory menu, press b and y at the same time. This makes it so you drop the item and sort your inventory at the same time, which causes you to drop the 5 items while still keeping the item in your inventory, thus duplicating the item.
Step 4 - Watch your items fall and collect your duplicates. I am up to 100 Diamonds this way in like 2 minutes.
Key note - Does not work with bomb flowers, they explode when they hit the ground. Found out the hard way. I'm sure some other items are limited like fairies and fire fruits. Works with fuse items though, which is nice.
2nd key note - this only works up to 4 times per glide. Otherwise, it will stop allowing you to hold items for that glide. You can still do it again after you touch the ground though and start over.

easiest dupe glitch ive ever seen, usually you have to jump through 18 hoops and 10 save files to do shit like this. Can also do it by shield surfing and dropping things mid air
i refuse to use it for anything except dragon parts tho which has like a 15 min cool down and will surely be used for armor upgrades
the sidequests might be the biggest improvement. They are actually fun and interesting to complete, botw sidequests were a wasteland asking for 5 or 10 of x.
I'm just starting Breath of the Wild. And I never finished Ocarina of Time (got lost in the water temple, had to focus on graduating from undergrad, and never went back to it).

New patch apparently gets rid of the dup glitch. Oh well.

Gloom Hands have to be the scariest shit I have seen in a Zelda game. Then I beat one by using fire fruits and dazzle fruits on arrows (because duh) and then WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?!? PHANTOM GANON!?!?!?!?

i have 83 shrines, 220ish koroks, and 2 main story quests done in my no fast travel playthrough thats prob been over 100 hours already and feel like im less than halfway done.
This game is tight. I just got to Hateno village for the first time lmao
i keep a top 100ish list and i comfortably have it 11th rn all time. Dont think it will move up though, Sekiro at 10th is probably a low ranking but my list is stacked

Just finished the Rito boss now, and I completely agree. It wasn't that difficult of a fight, but it was a spectacle, and the music was amazing, especially during the second stage. Gave me strong Dragon Roost Island vibes. It was fun, but not overly difficult.

Also made a flier and went way up to get the master sword, worked like a charm
I will not be controlled by quests!!
That's the beauty of this game (and BOTW to a point) is that there is such freedom to stray off the beaten path.

I think I have a few more shrines but waaaaaaay less koroks. I got into building late so I ignored torturing/rescuing koroks needing to reach their friends early. I'm probably 90 hours in and feel like I've done 25% with 2 of the region story quests done. The weird thing about this game is you could probably just get like 8 hearts and some food and complete it in 10 hours but nobody does that.

im one of the crazies who got them all in the last game for 100% lol
i know what to look for both on the map and environmentally, theyre literally everywhere. I wish it was all new puzzles, most of them are just recycled. The best ones are the nut plugs where you have to generate enough force to pull a cork out. Need more stuff like that.
