Why won't propublica, in a piece about Clarence Thomas, write about Biden and his campaign finances, or about China? Why didn't wasn't the investigation into Clarence Thomas not an investigation into the person I wanted them to investigate!?
He sold the property at a loss. I’m sure he’s thankful to whomever pointed out that he is probably due back some excess taxes paid.
He claimed he didn't think he needed to report it because it was at a loss. Why would he be thankful for the reporters pointing it out when he is himself pointing it out as his reasoning for not disclosing?

Maybe whomever did his taxes wasn’t very learned in tax law?
But anyway, since he sold it at a loss then he earned a tax break that he didn’t take

This isn't about tax laws, stop moving the goalposts. This is about reporting laws that he is required as a member of SCOTUS to follow. He is required to report any sale of property of $1K or more. Doesn't matter one bit if it is sold as a loss.

It technically doesn't. But as coc astutely noted, in a political world that failure to report is as common as it is typical, it is Thomas that must be beheaded. As the fascist left demands, anyone not on our ideological plantation must be taken down.

I hold the members of the highest court of the land to a higher standard than I would someone who isn't their job to study the law. But since it's just a supreme court justice then we should give them a break.

Holy overreaction batman. You know what a strawman argument is right? No, of course you don't. Stop trying to gaslight people.

Lol…I have to fill out an OGE every year and don’t have to report any losses in real estate, or any of my real estate holding if they don’t produce income.
It’s cute that you think you know anything at all.

He just said he's not talking about tax laws; but then you went on to talk about how tax laws apply to you.
Seems Cityofchamps was referring to rules that the supreme court justices have to follow; not the common citizen. Not sure how you didn't catch that.
