Glad you agree that Ron DeSantis has to be on some kind of drug induced hysteria to get into a fight with his state's biggest tourism attraction. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Meaningless. Absolutely and completely meaningless. Everything (yep, every-fuckin'-thing) is unsafe and kooks fight to abolish it. A place in California abolished dihydrogen monoxide. From Alar to gas stoves, everything is on the hit list.

Years ago, I worked at a plant that required an abatement team remove all paint before work on machinery. The paint involved was EPA categorized as "lead free". But even lead free contains trace amounts of lead. You would need to eat gallons of it a day for years to actually suffer poisoning, but it does indeed contain lead. Teams cake out in hazmat gear to remove the paint like it was asbestos. Then workers would make the repairs and another crew would then repaint it. Obviously this was costly (needlessly?). I came up with paint matching colored canvas covers so the machinery looked good and didn't need the ridiculous remove/repaint nonsense. (yes, I get paid to save money for the plants)

The stuff in question is 1. stored in mass, hardly any "safer" than using in roadways, and 2. recent, updated studies are questioning the ban as an unnecessary over reaction.
